Vibration issue

Hi All. Need some advise/opinion on a vibration issue I'm having with my GL450. It is a 2105. I installed new tires Michelin Premier LTX several month ago. I had no issues when the tires were new. The problem first occurred after the first rotation at around 8500 miles on the tires. Noticed vibration that start at 70mph and persists all the up to 85. If I hold the speed at 75 it seems to be worst
3 tire balances at the tire shop and the problem was still there. I thought maybe something else is wrong so took it to the MB dealer. Wheels are not bent, rotors are fine. The balanced the tires again. It made it a bit better but vibration is still there. It seems to get worst as the air pressure increases in the tires. I run 37psi cold
Any thoughts. I'm going to go back to the tire shop tomorrow and see if they will replace the tires under the tire warranty

I've never had a car that was as sensitive to even slightly unbalanced tires as the GL. What you are describing is very common on GLs with 20" wheels.

In my experience the solution is to find a tire shop with the Hunter road force balancing machine AND a technician who knows what he's doing and will take his time to do it right.

The tire shop is using Hunter machine. Maybe it is the tech and I need to try a different shop

Just an idea, but could also be that 8,500 is too late to rotate. These tires don’t seem to have a terribly long life and they may have gotten comfy in their respective positions.
Personally, I’m not a big fan of rotating on any of my vehicles as I have had more issues than not doing so. And over the life, they don’t wear terribly different that rotating would have extended them by much. Just my opinion.

I'm thinking along the same lines. Once I get this sorted out I don't think I'll be rotating them anymore. They last for 25k miles anyway and I'm not sure if rotating will extend the life

I also have the Mich LTX. I have about 23k on now, and wearing pretty good. I doubt i’ll get 50k, but I think It’ll Land between 30-40k. The stock Conti’s were gone at $27k
