has anyone blacked out chrome parts?
i've never been a fan of chrome parts in cars. i recently got a quote on wrapping chrome parts in darker colors and it's quite costly as expected.
but looking at chrome parts on gl550, i was wondering if those parts (perhaps not all but some parts like lips, grill, etc) could be swapped with after market parts. has anyone done that to get rid of chrome parts?

I have wrapped my trim and lower front/rear balance in gloss black. Find my thread “Panda Build”. Some parts you can get from Benz in black as part of the night package. I have recently found a company that does make real carbon fiber parts for the exterior but as you can imagine they are $$$ so likely not what you are looking for.

Just had mine wrapperd. Need to get the running board Rhino-Lined or something similar. The only chrome Ipulled off were the stupid door handle inserts... everything else is wrapped, except the Star.. front and back.
