I ordered a V8 2014 gl450 alternator by mistake.
Can i use it on my 2016 GL450 which is a V6 ?
I checked and they dont use the same part number.

In some MB models, Alternator case can be interchangeable to each other,
your V6 alternator uses (200A), while V8 comes with (180A), and your V6 Alternator case are differ than V8 one,
you may can change your case into V8 one, but can't assure to you,,
worth to try, if you wish..
