CPO Warranty Covering CV Boot?
My GL-350 is in at the stealership for a faulty thermostat and the advisor mentioned that the CV boot needs to be replaced and will cost $950 dollars. Holy cow. The vehicle is a CPO and still under CPO warranty until 2020, but the advisor is stating that CV boots are not covered. If the CV joint goes, that's covered. Seems like a red-herring to find something that the shop can get paid for.
I cannot find an explicit statement saying cv boots are covered online. Anyone know of a good CPO reference stating either way?

It is considered an expendable item, like the serpentine belt. In fact, the tensioner pulley or other pulleys are also not covered. $950 is high, but an oil change is $200.
