Sloshing Water Sound 😞

Hello everyone.

I searched the forums but didn't come up with anything but has anyone experienced hearing a sloshing sound of water in your vehicles?

I can't seem to pinpoint it but maybe someone has had a similar experience.

Thanks in advance

Gas, coolant, or wiper fluid. Likely gas.

Pull the carpet up under the passenger footwell. You may literally have water sloshing around. Happened to me after I accidentally left a window open and got some rain intrusion. There is a large cavity under the front floor boards that can hold gallons of water.

It's probably the gas tank. Run the tank down near empty and listen for it.

My old ml320 also would hold sloshing water in the footwells. I was in college and spent all my money on beer, lol and had a broken window for months. The car would hold tons of water that would slosh around until I replaced the window.

Wet dry vac and a dehumidifier.
