Bluetooth audio

Hi guys, I have a issue that drives me nuts.
whenever music playing via Bluetooth, it’s cutting off, every +- 10 sec it’s silence(0.2 sec) then continue playing.
No it’s not my internet connection, I try different devices and home WiFi.

It just keep cuting off. And it’s not always like that, sometimes it will play flawless, sometimes it’s impossible to listen.

What would be your suggestions?
Vehicle still under extended waranty but I need somehow to show them what’s wrong, and I’ll go to dealer and it will work
btw they wont do **** until there’s a check engine code.

Thanks

Try streaming with a different device to your car.

Or ... you have a receptacle for a sim card, you can save all your iTunes library as MP3 files and pop the card in to play directly off the sim. Just a suggestion. Mine rarely breaks up when using blue tooth but I know what you're talking about - I bought an IPOD to dedicate it to the GL so my phone wasn't always necessary (they both carry my iTunes libraries). Seems to work better when phone is in the square key receptacle on the centre console, rather than inside or up front under the heater controls.

I believe that's an SD card slot, not a SIM card :-)

I had this same problem in both my wife's GL and my E but it seemed to work itself out as I don't hear it any longer. We did upgrade our phones to an 8 and X so maybe that had something to do with it? What phones are you experiencing it with?

I've got the same problem with Galaxy Note 8,
Tried my wife's Note 8 a bit less interruption but mine is like every 10 seconds so frustrating Dealer told me tech tried same phone and it worked fine, problem is that when you pair at first it's fine, but after few minutes the interruption gets back on I personally listen to Google Music and YouTube music but no matter what I stream or play through Bluetooth every 10 sec it cuts out..

Simply, pull down the notification bar on your iPhone or Android and look for where the Bluetooth icon is and turn bluetooth off. All you need to do is wait 10 seconds and then switch it on again and now check if your devices can pair. This can help create a better connection as the chipset in the phone will be reset.

I was able to resolve this issue, after digging through some forums.
You have to go to Settings Device Maintenance under 'Battery usage' Select menu from there go under 'Optimize Battery usage ' and uncheck Bluetooth and all of your playing apps suc as Google Music or YouTube music and that will eliminate the annoying skipping on songs.

A gaggle of MB's
You mean on your phone - Android OS - correct ? I just want to have clear understanding as I am not a Android guy - and "most" Bluetooth problems we have roll in randomly are Android.

Appreciate letting me know - thanks !

This fix is for Android devices, as I use a Motorola as well aside from Samsung running Android. I don't believe this issue is with Apple devices.
