2013 GL450
Passenger mirror
Clipped the passenger side mirror backing into our garage and shattered the glass, ripped off the bottom cover and damaged the housing cover. Any idea if I need to replace the whole unit, or if I could just replace the mirror, bottom cover and housing?

I had similar lapse in judgement (lol), but nowhere near the damage you did. Glass was ok, but top and bottom housing separated and clips on bottom housing broke. I was able to remove and reglue bottom housing and reassemble. As part of disassembly, glass is removed, so it is a separate piece. However, I do think it may be pricey to replace.
