Turbo rebuilt?
Has anyone had their turbo rebuilt? I have the 14 GL 550, 95k miles I took it in after the service light went on. They said one turbo was clogged and they rebuilt both turbos.
I'm curious If anyone else had this and what I might be doing wrong?
What I did right was get a 125k warranty so it was all covered, although it took 2 weeks.

Maybe or maybe not. Probably just the drive-line or he could have worked with the shop to order the upgraded turbos and paid them the difference. Warranty co many not have ever known. My SL is modified with everything you can throw at it less the upgraded turbos and not one item was ever denied because of it. Truth is, most warranty inspectors can't tell stock from not on many items. With that said, mine has larger intercoolers, down pipes, full 3" exhaust, blow off valves mounted on the intercoolers, different intake, 13" wide wheels with 335/30/18 tires, etc, etc.
If it is an MB warranty, yeah, they would deny with a quickness!
