Enabling DVD and Nav address entry while in motion
BimmerGuru provides a simple software unlocking to enable video in motion on the GL. No need to install hardware. Takes less than 5 minutes and can be restored back to factory settings. Here's a video on how it's done:

your car is supported… If I recall correctly the navigation will work in the background while you’re on video… Since this is a video in motion software only and does not alter affect any other feature the best way to test is to put a destination address in your GPS and play a DVD and drive around the block to see if you can toggle between the GPS and the BLOCKED video screen , if it works then the video in motion software will enable it to show video while driving
