Looking to get out of a Range Rover Supercharged

Looking to get out of a Range Rover Supercharged and into a GL450... plus some cash. Let me know if anyone near NJ or NY is interested.

I went from a supercharged XJ into a 550. Best move ever. I love jaguar/RR but the quality and reliability is just garbage. Mine was constantly having issues, even at low mileage, Some major, and a ton of minor. Always worried about the next issue. With the GL550, basically oil changes and scheduled maintenance.

Thanks. Found a buyer on car gurus pretty quickly. But selling at 35.5k ... so that still kinda sucks.

I see a bunch of GL450s with 55kish miles and single owner carfaxes for about $22-4k... anything to be concerned about? It will be a weekend truck, I have a 2nd car. I am also very handy and can do some work on my own, like airmatic struts, etc.

13-14 they seem to have corrected past issues (I have the 14 model with under 40k miles), 14's were the last turbo v8's, 15 up are v6's (Not saying they're bad). Since I do my own service/mechanical type stuff, fewer the features the better. I spent months reading, crawling underneath, taking tours of dealerships and speaking with their mechanics.

Wife drives an 06 Land Rover LR3 (Her third Land Rover) with over 160k miles, some years back I removed it's air suspension and installed coilovers (Added 2") it's been problem free with regular maintenance.

Whats your planned weekend use?

Doorkey - sorry thought I had responded.

I drive my Honda S2k on a daily basis - just need a family SUV for trips and weekend outings. We like to take 4 bicycles in a tow hitch style carrier occasionally.

UPDATE: So I found and bought a perfect GL450! It is a 2013, black on black. It has parking pack, driv assistance, light package, and tow package - so very happy. it ALSO only has 51k miles and one owner. I got it for 20,300 + tax/title - so basically it was a steal.

The issues with car - going in, I know the motor mounts were shot. Also, the last owner only did oil changes at a local shop, no Mercedes dealer visits. So far, I have done (via my own trusted mechanic):
1. Oil change ($110)
2. Spark Plugs ($250)
3. All Three mounts ($400 parts and $250 labor)
4. Engine and Cabin Filters ($150)

Need to look into:
1. Truck has a slight vibration still at 80+ mph.... it comes with cheap no name tires that are 20% tread remaining. Also - the back wheels have tons of weights to balance them, so I assume they are not perfect condition. Might be a great excuse to buy 22" AMG replica wheels and new tires
2. Transmission/Dif Fluid - need to flush this. Looking at $400 in just fluid costs! Plus the trans pan must be dropped, etc. Maybe early 2020 for that one
3. Driver's Seat Pleather Peeling - Need to address this. Maybe a mobile interior repair guy can do this... not sure because it isn't real leather...
4. Steering Wheel - Paint in lower spokes is peeling. Maybe I can have this wrapped? Pretty low on the list.
