Hi,
@kkarb @mociclistu - guys, since you went through the experience of deleting AdBlue with Vladimir's plug can you just confirm what's displayed in the Service-AdBlue menu, e.g. does it still show AdBlue level or "Cannot measure AdBlue level" message? Plus, did you have any messages stored in the Service-Messages submenu?

Does the plug offer option to revert to original state, as seen in his YT videos? Anything visible impacting the resell/trade-in price?

Finally - I believe the guy's based in Russia or something. How have you guys made the payment and how was the shipping done?

Thanks!

There are no error message.
In the hidden service menu the Adblue level is visible, no error on SCR module.
Everything is normal, nobody can see that the adblue is off

About nox sensor

One month later and a total of 300 km traveled ( due to the whole Corona thing), the other day when I was driving to the grocery store the check engine light came on. The next day I went to the same guy, and he ran diagnostic, and I got NOX Sensor fault. He even told me the first time I went, that the main issue he has with w205 is the ad blue system, and that its very expensive to maintain.

So he offered me two option:

1. I buy a new sensor for around 400 EUR and he will replace it, so with the labor it will come up to a total of around 500 EUR
2. For 250 EUR he will re-program the AdBlue CPU so that its turned off, and for the car it will look like everything is working perfectly, the only way to notice its not working is that the adBlue liquid will never go down

So I went with option 2, since I don't want to change sensors every few months. For an extra 30 EUR they even cleaned my DPF with some chemicals injected by removing the lambda sensor just before the DPF, and then turning on the regeneration mode manually via the computer.

This whole thing took 1 full working day, since the re-programming is not simple. I must say I'm impressed, the car feels much more light and agile ( I guess of the clean DPF mostly). So I would totally recommend this procedure to anyone as long as you go to a shop that knows how to do it.
Hi im thinking to do second option do you still recommend thanks.

I've got 66k on our 2014 GL350 and CELs concerning the NOx sensors are popping up and I'm afraid of more AdBlue system-related issues in the future (heater failure, etc). We absolutely love the vehicle, but hate all the associated emissions stuff that seem to hinder the vehicle's reliability.

I ordered from Vladimir. Quick reponse. Sent via DHL from Poland. He is based in Belarus. Product arrived in no time and works. BUT, the menu is tricky to figure out and when I questioned Vladimir on his email he was incredibly RUDE and scathing going of that I did not read his instructions and "probably did not even start the car". Yes there is a restore to factory default - and it actually works.

So, yes it works. But it is very expensive because it is in US Dollars. He accepts crypto which is a way for him to dodge tax.

What a rude and horrible person.

yes, i have the fix from Vladimir on my ML350Bluetec. Works 100%👍 I have driven 100.000km with the fix from Vladimir. And zero faults at the cdi motor electronics since i flashed the software with the plug. (Its a SD card inside) 100.000km ago👍 Jusk make sure to connect charger and drive the car warm before flash. If voltage go below 11,6 V during flash, command screen turns of, and you have no controll. VERY important to charge battery and make sure car is warm before flash.

I had done the AdBlue delete using Vladimir's module. After one year, I sent him a message, and he replied normally. As for the module, the price is well deserved. I have seen autoshops that delete AdBlue, and afterward, the car is full of black smoke at the rear because they also delete the dpf system. So, Vladimir's module is very good software without removing anything from the car. The fact that you can always reverse it is also a bonus.

i agree with you👍 I read in some UK forum that VladimirCDI is one of the best in the wourld on MB. I have the module, and i just order any tuning for any car from him. Just replace the files at the sd card, and module can be used at any car (with command). The adblue / nox off tuning i ordered for my ML with om642.826 is amazing.

DPF removal details

If anyone is interested mine has been fully deleted (AdBlue, SPF, DPF, EGR) and t u n e d properly by (PM for details). I am looking to sell to get the wife (and myself of of course) into a G wagon.

I'll probably just trade it in to avoid hassle of private sale to my original purchase dealer, but if an enthusiast is interested, she's been trouble free for 10,000 miles since the oil cooler gasket repair and tune/delete, currently at 83k, 2013 GL350 Designo White with black interior. THE best combo IMO, my sole reason for initial purchasing this diesel over a GL450 I was looking for was the overall condition was excellent and the color combo was hard to find another exactly like it for the price. Still a garage kept, no rust NC car. This thing is basically a 1980 300D now, in a nice new shell. Convert it to biofuel or run it as is up to 500k miles.

I'll put an ad here and other places once, I get finished detailing in a couple days and get some current photos taken.
do you remember if the aluminum cross member that sits below the DPF pipe needed to be removed to pull the DPF?

I can't recall if it was totally necessary but yes I do recall removing it. I did the work on a 2 post lift so likely was easier if you dont have that option.
