Has anyone used VladimirCDI's AdBlue delete system? If so, does it work as flawlessly as the video makes it seem?
I've got 66k on our 2014 GL350 and CELs concerning the NOx sensors are popping up and I'm afraid of more AdBlue system-related issues in the future (heater failure, etc). We absolutely love the vehicle, but hate all the associated emissions stuff that seem to hinder the vehicle's reliability.

The dealer actually replaced both NOx sensors under warranty. We're currently in the process of trading it in on another vehicle. We don't want to take anymore chances with this crappy AdBlue and associated systems. It has been in the shop a few times in the last couple months and even if covered under warranty, it is a hassle to keep taking it into the shop. I would add the delete, but not sure what happens when we go to trade it in if there are more issues that the delete is masking. My wife has loved the GL350, but is ready to wash her hands of it...

If you don't remove the DPF also, I don't see how that works out long term, just fooling the AdBlue. Other than tricking a dealer or purchaser into thinking it's all good.
If anyone is interested mine has been fully deleted (AdBlue, SPF, DPF, EGR) and t u n e d properly by (PM for details). I am looking to sell to get the wife (and myself of of course) into a G wagon.
I'll probably just trade it in to avoid hassle of private sale to my original purchase dealer, but if an enthusiast is interested, she's been trouble free for 10,000 miles since the oil cooler gasket repair and tune/delete, currently at 83k, 2013 GL350 Designo White with black interior. THE best combo IMO, my sole reason for initial purchasing this diesel over a GL450 I was looking for was the overall condition was excellent and the color combo was hard to find another exactly like it for the price. Still a garage kept, no rust NC car. This thing is basically a 1980 300D now, in a nice new shell. Convert it to biofuel or run it as is up to 500k miles.
I'll put an ad here and other places once, I get finished detailing in a couple days and get some current photos taken.
I would like to share with you my experience and if anyone can give me wise advice. At begining of may this year I bought MB W205, C250d in Germany in authorized Mercedes Benz dealer salon near Hamburg. The vehicle had 52,000 km, the date of first registration is 07/2016. Since I am EU citizen (Croatia) I got 2 years Junge Sterne warranty which I can use at the nearest MB service. After 3 weeks and round 1300 km of driving the check engine light turn on and the diagnosis was a failure of the upper Nox sensor. MB and Junge sterne warranty refused to cover my repair because they found water in the installation causing oxidation. I paid 800 EUR with discount and no one explained to me how the water ended up in the installation. 6 weeks after that and round 4000 km of driving again check engine light turn on. This time both Nox sensors burned even though one of them is almost new. At mbworld.org forum I read that if air-conditioning drain is not fitting properly water is accumulating resulting in damage of corroding the sensor so I asked MB service to check my climate drainage. After 15 min of inspection they said that both sensors are burned and that climate drainage is ok. This time Junge Sterne is covering repair but they have to charge me 80 EUR for installation of modified air filter. All of this is pretty disappointing for me and I am thinking about selling W205 and buying a Bmw or Audi.
A month ago I bought my W205 220d (pre-owned with fulls service history), and the NOX sensor was replaced like 30 000 KM ago. I went to service the car as soon as I bought it and they did also computer diagnostic, everything was in working condition, no faults or errors.
One month later and a total of 300 km traveled ( due to the whole Corona thing), the other day when I was driving to the grocery store the check engine light came on. The next day I went to the same guy, and he ran diagnostic, and I got NOX Sensor fault. He even told me the first time I went, that the main issue he has with w205 is the ad blue system, and that its very expensive to maintain.
So he offered me two option:
1. I buy a new sensor for around 400 EUR and he will replace it, so with the labor it will come up to a total of around 500 EUR
2. For 250 EUR he will re-program the AdBlue CPU so that its turned off, and for the car it will look like everything is working perfectly, the only way to notice its not working is that the adBlue liquid will never go down
So I went with option 2, since I don't want to change sensors every few months. For an extra 30 EUR they even cleaned my DPF with some chemicals injected by removing the lambda sensor just before the DPF, and then turning on the regeneration mode manually via the computer.
This whole thing took 1 full working day, since the re-programming is not simple. I must say I'm impressed, the car feels much more light and agile ( I guess of the clean DPF mostly). So I would totally recommend this procedure to anyone as long as you go to a shop that knows how to do it.

So I assume new software still completes an automatic DPF region when required? If not, it would seem the DPF would get clogged up and it would make sense to remove it.
The automatic DPF regeneration is unchanged. I specifically asked. They said the car will still regenerate automatically as usual. This manual regeneration + the chemicals they inject is recommend to be done every 50K -100 K depending on where and how you drive. Its not something that needs t be done very often, but its worth doing it for the prevention.
So does anyone have experience using the OBD ii module from VladimirCDI and can report back. I ultimately want something that is reversible and from what I understand this is the case. However, does Vlads program disable the DPF regeneration as well, where I'm trying to get is will the system be functional if I decide to turn it back on a year down the line or something.
Anyone thinking of doing this (leaving aside the legalities) should be aware Mercedes is about to give bonus free 4 year warranty to all GL350 owners as part of the Dieselgate settlement. If you mess with the system I am sure you will be excluded.
Am about to go for the ODB2 from Vladimir, to fix the below problem and future ones. Any ideas what my issue is with this leak? It started a few days after I was using the stationary heating on my car.
Hello, im a ML350 Bluetec owner, w166. I also have the nox cells, replaced nox sensors, and all fine. After 10.000km the problem came back. I have now ordered the obd Adblue of from vladimir. (From the youtube video). I have not recived yet, but i will get it in few days. Has onyone tried this solution??? I ONLY ordered adblue off, no more. I can soon report back about this.
Sauce? Any ideas as to if/when this will happen (the 4 year warranty extension?) I'm having timing chain rattle from my X166 and it has < 70k miles on it (2013). Considering selling it - but if there's a drivetrain warranty that goes on for 4 more years I'll likely keep it a bit longer.
That said, from what I've read the extended warranty applies to the components affected by the modifications. I would not be optimistic that a timing chain would be covered, but it might be worth holding onto a bit longer if you are the first owner and can claim the full $$$ settlement.
