Brake Rotors, Pads

I read the thread about Zimmermann, Brembos. What do people think about Powerstop Z23, the upgraded brake kit? for $250 an axle w carbon fiber, ceramic pads, it seems to be a reasonable value from large brand. The pads wear out so quickly I am not overly concerned about those. I put in Pagid and Akebono last year, easy enough to swap out.

Has anyone found a brake rotor paint, for the tophat, that last long enough to keep rust away?

To follow on, if anyone knows.
According to Powerstop, the correct rotors are 1463. however these are sold out everywhere.
According to Rock Auto, Carpart.com, Amazon, the correct part is 1461.

Apparently 1463 is the AMG rotor? did i read correctly that the amg and regular rotors are the same size?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

@silvergl Have you posted your VIN previously? Do you have EPC? If you post the VIN someone can check in EPC.

Thanks, here is some good info for people that may be looking at Powerstop. Literally, carpart.com, powerstop.com, rockauto.com, amazon.com all have conflicting information.
EBR1463 is 13.78 cm diameter
EBR1461 is 14.76 cm in diameter.

Strangely, the AMG and standard have the same brake pad.
Also, for the upgraded rotor, P15EBR1600XPR, the powerstop website lists both AMG and non-AMG as fitments. These are 13.58cm diameter.
https://www.powerstop.com/search/?part=EBR1600XPR

2014

2014 MERCEDES-BENZ GL350
2014 MERCEDES-BENZ GL450 AMG Performance Pkg
2014 MERCEDES-BENZ GL450 Except AMG Performance Pkg
2014 MERCEDES-BENZ GL550

Perhaps the 1cm difference in diameter does not matter?
The VIN is 4JGDF7CE8EA362428

End of the day, what is the correct fitment? With different search results from multiple website and Powerstop not having an answer either, maybe I just need others. Zimmermann?

13.78 is not in "cm" but in "inches" - 13.78" front rotor which is 350mm (35cm) diameter,
14.76 is not in "cm" but in "inches" - 14.76" front rotor (GL550) which is 375mm (37.5cm) diameter

The Power Stop rotors lasted about 2 weeks, one good, hard stop and they warped violently. really surprising.

Aside from Brembo, does anyone else have a recommendation for rotors?

Holding up great. Probably a little over 10k miles. Word of advice, make sure to lubricate the pins on the rear so the caliper releases freely. Had one caliper that was sticking and chewed through the outside pads on one wheel.

The rear pads are worn enough to set off the service light. I would be amazed if it has 10k miles on it. I am going w Brembo this time. Front seem to be okay actually. I will know more once I get them pulled.

I put Zimmermann rotors and MB pads on my GL450 with appearance package (drilled rotors, 375mm front ones) about 20K miles ago - everything is perfect. No warping, no glazing etc.

My understanding is that Zimmerman is the suppler for MB for these rotors. They are identical to the MB ones I had on before.

Here is that set with Meyle pads: https://www.ebay.com/itm/152705531582

Same as mtm above. Zimmerman rotors and MB pads. don't know the exact mileage but more than 10k on the setup. No problems
