I ordered a new auxiliary battery from FCP, for a 2015 550 GL. When I went to fit, it is half the physical size of the current battery. The part number on existing battery is A 001 982 27 08. Apparently this battery has been superseded. I am getting conflicting information on-line. Can anyone confirm the correct replacement
part number for this battery?
Go to mercedesbenzstarparts and enter your vin. The auxiliary battery is very small. The main battery is “normal” size compared to automotive batteries of the past 30 years.
The auxiliary battery I bought is half the size of the current auxiliary battery. Looking on-line the auxiliary battery I have has been superseded, and that is where the conflicting information is coming from. Will check out your link. Thanks
