PCV Catch Can (GL 350)

Just put in a PCV catch can this weekend - not hard to do at all.. I used 5/8" heater hose and some 5/8" 90 degree angle brackets to pipe it in alongside the engine

Pics here.

Made an aluminum bracket to attached to the fuse box

Backside of bracket

Used rivets to attach the catch can bracket to the bracket I made

A bit too high - I lowered it later (not this pic)

The bracket just slips on and off (it's fairly tight) the fuse box), between gravity and friction it'll stay there on its own without any fasteners. Makes it easy to pull out and drain I hope.

Sorry to bump an old thread - but can any one provide more info as to where the hoses go ?

Good job on the bracket asuchander.

thanks.

So off the the air intake there is a outlet for air coming from the PCV valve. I cut that hose - and then added in some clamps and hoses to run to the catch can. So the air comes out of the PCV, goes through the catch can, and then back into the air intake next to the turbo.
