How difficult is it to replace transmission lines?

Hi, has anybody had any issues with leaky transmission lines yet? We only have 77K miles on the GL450, but both lines seem to be leaky and need replacement. The dealer suggested to do the radiator at the same time (and transmission fluid and filter change of course) and wants 'only' $6,100 for the work, which is ridiculous. Claims it takes 17 h. Wonder what others paid for a similar service before I shop around a little.

Transmission lines are quick-connect type with o-ring. Those normally don't leak. Might be a rip off.
Anyway always shop around. Go other indy shop servicing Mercedes and ask them about their opinion. Do not mention dealer opinion or prices unless you want to pay extra.
I have 2014 GL with 140k miles and engine rebuild. No leaking of transmission lines at all.
I did changed radiator - but that one was broken by other reason.
