What is that? Been told it was a coolant reservoir for the turbos. My MB takes the BLUE coolant, this is golden or brown. Is the wrong coolant in it? Can I add the blue or do I need to get as much as I can out and the fill it with the Blue?

Can I add the blue to it or should I suck out what I can and then add the Blue? Thought about sucking it out and filling it with distilled water and letting that run thru it and then suck it out and add the Blue.
Your thoughts?

If it were me, I would drain and flush. with aluminum blocks there is way too much risk for adverse chemical reactions. Even the wrong coolant can plug ports, not cool enough, or otherwise cause problems. I would drain, flush and fill with the correct coolant.
You may be "fine" only refilling, but who know what happens next year or the following, these things are too expensive to not go 100% on maintenance, in my opinion.

Other than using a turkey baster to suck out the coolant, is there a drain port somewhere on it? Can I just suck out as much as possible, pour in distilled water, eun it, then suck that out and fill it with the blue?
Thanks for the help!

Try the search function. Lots of coolant WIS documents floating around on this site.

This place is a joke.
That's really close to the coolant changeover. I'm still thinking you should have pink not blue. They cannot be mixed together. The intetcooler is a separate circuit however. Either one will be fine for your car. The big difference is blue is sweet and pink sour....to keep animals or children from drinking it. The pink seems to crust up and evaporate faster, but it's safer.

So grab a jug for the '14 and up Mercedes? Easy enough, thanks!
Can I flush it just to get the old fluid out and the new fluid in? I did a flush on the engine coolant about a month ago, got fresh blue fluid in it, would like to flush the turbo coolant as well and get fresh (pink you said) fluid in it too.
Thanks for the help man!!

That will be a little tricky to flush, as it's just a fill point and the electric pump must be running to circulate coolant. That pump also has a tendency to air lock.
Sounds like a turkey baster is my best option then, suck it out and fill it up. Figure if I do that 4 or 5 times I should have replaced the old with the new!

I'm going to put the Zerex G05 in there and I found a small siphon pump that should fit inside the tank. That should drain it very well and then fill and repeat. I didn't notice but, is there a fill mark on that reservoir?

I have not referred to WIS, but I would fill with distilled water and bring to temperature. You may be able to note a coolant color at this time. Regardless, I would repeat drain (turkey baster) until the color became clear. Then I would fill with the correct coolant per BEVO for your vehicle. There is probably a recommended ratio of coolant to water also.
I ended up having to replace the Turbo Coolant lines for both sides and found that these lines come and go to and from that reservoir and to the big coolant reservoir. After replacing those lines I filled with Peak OET, European Vehicles, BLUE. Let it set for a little with the caps off to try an let air out, filled it up again, started it and let it idle for about 20 minutes. Replaced the caps on the big and small reservoirs and drove it around without any issues.
I kept an eye out on the levels for about a month to make sure it did change before I put the covers back on. Been working just fine every since!
