Hello all. Just picked up a 2013 GL550. Over the past couple days, the front passenger seat belt light stays on with the seat is empty. The chime is bugging my wife lol.

I noticed the light stays on during cold mornings. After the car warms up, it seems to go away for the rest of the day. This issue is affecting the airbag warning messages on the dash.

Anyone else have this issue? What part do I need to look at? if anyone has a part number please let me know.

Sounds like an electrical issue, any codes? Did you run a scan through Xentry and see anything of interest?

 

Next step is getting a scan. I'll post the results here when I complete that.
