2014 GL450 with Off Road Package
I am trying to find a solution to bypass the setting for ride height that are set by MB. The GL has 3 height settings and I would like to keep the ride height to be at level 1 which gets cancelled as soon as you hit 70mph. This is one above stock height ride. On my 2008 GL I used links to raise the height but that one didn't have the Off Road package and I would like to not mess with those again. My question is: has anyone been able to move the speed limit where the ride gets cancelled back to stock and then to also keep it at that level even after you turn off the car and start it again? I have two E63 wagons from 2009 that don't revert to stock height when you restart the car, I guess MB made this change for the models after 2009?
I reached to my local MB dealer in Atlanta but they said they couldn't do it or maybe they didn't know how to. I appreciate any useful input on this matter.
