Has anyone got their settlement payment yet? I had my field measure performed in the summer, complete replacement of the exhaust system. But haven't heard from this lawyer's office regarding payments yet.
Someone on the diesel thread said they have received a check. I had my field measure done in March and have heard nothing since being told I had successfully submitted my claim. They can recoup some of the costs of this settlement amount through interest and investments so they will hold onto it as long as possible.

Well, if they receive money from MB on behalf of MB diesel owners, there must be a court set date by which they must distribute the funds. I wonder what is the way to find it out.
I had My GL field measure done and submitted my claim in April 2022 and got my check in September 2022. It did take a while but eventually did showed up, My FIL had the field measure done on his ML in Sep 2022 but then delayed submitting as he needed to get some documentation to submit. Submitted in Nov 2022, not looking for it anytime until maybe March-April 2023.
I sent my 2016 GLE350d in on November 08th 2022 and I received my cheque on January 7th 2023. As soon as the work was done I submitted my claim.
The result of that work left me with really slow, laboured shifts while warming up and then after that, its great. I use my paddles for the first 10 minutes. The
second issue is that I get caught in traffic a lot and could make use of my engine stall feature. It rarely ever works. I'll talk to my dealer. That's it!

Has your dealer been able to rectify your 1st issue noted above regarding slow, laboured shifts? We have a 2014 GL 350 experiencing the same issue after the field measure installation. However the paddle shifters won’t function, so we can’t really override it. Hopefully it’s just a cold weather problem. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

To update the situation, they have done nothing. They tell me that the vehicle has to "learn" your driving preferences. To that end, the engine stall feature is coming back. It now works 50% of the time. As for the cold weather shifting problem, it is slowly coming back. In just the past week it too is starting to work. Mine is diesel and it does require at least 5 minutes to warm up in the driveway before I can consider driving it. It now takes about 8 - 10 minutes to get it shifting properly and as of yesterday it actually worked right out of the driveway in freezing cold weather. After we get back from Florida I'll take it up with Mercedes again. Best of luck with your issue, they aren't quick to do anything for us now.
