Can you replace front strut mount independently?
I've got a GL350 that has some front clunking noise that sounds very much like top mount slop/play. When I google replacements I see Mercedes doesn't offer anything, but are they in fact separate pieces from the struts themselves?
I've come across this link and am curious if I can just replace the mounts to eliminate the noise but reuse the existing struts as they're working just fine.
