GL/GLS63 engine/transmission mount replacement quote
Hi all,

How much would you expect to pay to get left/right engine mounts and a transmission mount replaced on a X166 GL63/GLS63 AMG?

Got a quote of $6400 ($4700 is labor). It's from an indy shop around Bellevue, Washington.

I've had engine mounts replaced on a non-AMG V8 before and it was nowhere near this price.

Anyone here have any experience with this also willing to share?

Ripoff. They are quoting approx 3 days labor. Way too much, this is a one day job for a shop, which means 7 hours labor x $200/hr = $1400. $2000 for labor, at the most.

Get another quote.

Should be around 12 hrs in labor + alignment. It's alot of work, but maybe not at $300/hr like your independent quoted you. lol.
