2014 GL450
Coolant boiling
Having some issues lately with my 2014 GL450. The temp gauge on the dash is showing around 100c(212f) and when I stop driving I can hear sound of boiling coolant when I open the hood. The coolant level is good, in fact drained and refilled coolant last month. Got the original MB coolant and mixed 50-50
i also connected obd tool to see the temperature range is from 90c to 110c (200-230f). Surprisingly I don’t see radiator fan running even at this temperature. But when i turn on max AC it runs fine. No CEL or any codes with icarsoft scanner.
not sure where to start. Can someone share the temperature and speed for the radiator fan to kick in and stop normally? Is it normal to hear boiling coolant sound?
