I have a 2013 450 and it has cylinder wall scoring
On Aug 4th Just went to start up this evening now engine shaking and cel flash slow , my tech is coming to check out soon hopefully get back up and running soon
Wrote out some notes real quick as a guide I guess , not sure if the plugs were changed out or that’s the culprit.
I only have 53,930 last I checked could be a little more maybe 950 I drove last Sunday perfectly fine no issues. As I did a quick google search I found out there’s a TSB on this and the fix is updated version injectors is it covered or out pocket?
INJ-The bottom is right bank injector
**UPDATE MISFIRE ON CYL 1,2,4 was just scanned by my buddy who’s a AMG certified tech and is going to go through the truck and get it sorted out for me and will be replacing plenty of things. I tried to record a video on idle. and you can hear very faintly the issue for a second.
July 30th was the last time I drove the truck and it felt great, Suddenly developed a CEL and misfire.
I am so disappointed at only 53962 miles the truck has come to an end and is on its last leg.
I wanted to have this engine block bored and sleeved and machined and then put back together.
Am distraught right now because I never expected to be in this predicament. It’s a nightmare and have only been able to find one low mileage unit and close to the 54k on the truck now it’s not the money part that worries me it’s the most cost effective route that is worrisome.

OK. Options are sell the car, replace the engine with the expected same outcome (scoring) at some point, or sleeve the engine. Message @arsupisemnet about resleeving alternatives.
