Is it time to sell?

The electrical gremlins keep coming back. The latest is ABS, Traction Control and Check Engine lights popping up. Changed the wheel speed sensor which was one of the codes, but it’s wont’ clear. I took it to an independent mechanic that specializes in Mercedes for further diagnosis. He can’t get codes to clear and says that a ton show up and his view is that the ECM is probably bad and that I’ll need to take it to the dealer to fix. I fear this will be a costly repair.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

I'll be the first to say it:
Check your batteries.

Did you change both batteries? There is the main battery under the front passenger seat and there is an axillary battery in the back, passenger side, next to the spare. You have to take a few panels off to get to it.

2013 ML350 Bluetec, 1966 Ford Mustang Convertible (sold)
Same thing happened to my 2013 ML350 Bluetec. Turned out to be the wheel bearing that was so rusted out that the magnetic strip inside of it was gone so the abs sensor couldn't work anymore. I had a CEL, ABS lights and the cruise control stopped working. Changing the wheel bearing fixed it all.

Issue resolved. Turned out that the wiring was broken / eaten into. Replaced that and we are all good.
