Liftgate wiring harness connector?
I replaced my liftgate lock actuator in my 2013 GL450. When I detached the wire connector from the liftgate switch (the button on the underside of the liftgate that you press to manually close the liftgate), the brittle plastic of the wire connector broke apart leaving behind the 3 wires that go into the connector that goes into the liftgate switch. I've spent hours looking online for either the small 3-pin wire connector (probably a $0.25 part) or the full wiring harness on which that little connector was attached, without any luck. I think I need to disassemble the liftgate this week to see what the full part is that had that wire connector on the end since at this point, I have no idea what that part is. I thought it would be a wiring harness, esp since my mechanic told me yesterday that they'd have to replace the entire "wiring harness" at a cost of $450, but I can't find any such wiring harness in the many diagrams I've seen. So now I'm wondering if it's the hatch lift support/strut (part no 1668900100).
Does anyone know whether I can buy the 3-pin wire connector and if not, what the full part is that plugs into the liftgate switch?
Edited to add: just looked at installation videos of the struts and don't think it's that. I'm stumped. I'd really like to order the part in advance of taking apart the liftgate.
2nd edit: I found the 3-pin connector thanks to my mechanic and the repair took me all of 10 mins. The part no. is A0255453326 in case anyone ever needs it.
