2017 GLS 450
Massage seat, bolsters and lumber returning to zero driver and passenger

Good evening all. We have a 2013 GL550 and for some reason the lumber, bolsters and massage have all stopped working. They worked fine, I was trying to adjust them and they stopped working. When I press a button relating to them it returns to zero and does nothing. It has affected driver and passenger sides. The only thing I can think of is I changed the aux battery recently. Would anyone have any idea? I checked the fuses but don’t see a fuse relating to this function.

I did read the forums first and see that air leaks are common but I have not heard any air leak.

thank you in advance!

2013 GL350
I have a 2013 GL 350 with similar issue, with a slight twist: if I used the feature within a few
minutes of starting the vehicle cold, they would work. But if I tried using them after 3-4 minutes after a start, they would return zero, like yours. Now they won’t work at all.

2015 GL550
Same problem here. Had this issue a couple weeks ago and it cleared on its own. Now both front seats massage and lumbar, etc do not work. Does anyone know what fuses impact this? I've seen posts about leaking hoses that cause the pump to burn out so I'll have to test the hoses and check if the pump is bad. Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks. From what I see, seems the pump is in the cargo section .

I found this for info on pump location and replacement instructions, https://mbworld.org/forums/gl-class-...our-seats.html . I found Bosch pump part number 0132006417.
