Hi all, I currently drive a CLS63 and I'm about to order a GLS450 with the AMG appearance package (no performance exhaust option available) and I'm really excited about it. Obviously not the huge engine I have now, but fine for what I need it to be hustling kids around the city. One thing I'm not excited about is the relatively quiet exhaust. I LOVE hearing the exhaust when I open it up. Anyone, know of an aftermarket option or maybe have experience adding valves?
Any ideas at all for adding some bark or even growl? No reason why the V6 in the 450 couldn't sound pretty good.

If you are about to order a new GLS 450, you should probably post your question in the correct forum. GLS Class (X167) - MBWorld.org Forums
Thanks. I already posted there, but they suggested cross posting here as people may be a bit more performance oriented.

Everyone in this section has V8's so that may not have been the best advice. It adds clutter to those with AMG's. With that said, you got a response in your original thread so all is not lost.
