I was driving my 2013 Mercedes gl on the motorway when it randomly cut out and after pulling onto the hard shoulder it would not start or even crank over. I tried to turn it back on but it just wouldn’t crank at all. There was no notification while I was driving to say there was a fault no noise no lights and the temperature was sitting at 90 as it should and it just shut off.AA told me engine is seized however I’ve had a mix opinion by many machine saying the engine on these don’t
seize without a big fault .If you have any idea what is wrong with it please get back to me.Im looking forward to the reply’s

Consider that it may be a bad crankshaft position sensor. Pretty easy to fix yourself.

this is very far from something that can be diagnosed over the internet. Also it shows you have gl350, so im assuming it's a diesel. Likely has the warranty extension stuff. a crankshaft sensor wont prevent the vehicle from cranking. You're also in the GL amg forum section.
