Looking at a 2022 GLA 250 4Matic that is missing the standard power lift gate. Has anyone tried retrofitting it? Also does anyone has info on exactly what parts would be needed. Wondering if the wiring would be there since it’s a standard feature and if it would need to programed.

Do you have liftgate buttons:

on the key fob
on the driver’s door
inside the liftgate (red button)
outside the liftgate (above license plate)

This is a car I’m looking at to buy. Wanted to see if it was possible to do. It’s also in another state so I’d be shipping it. The car does not have the door button and I do not have a pic of the remote or lift gate button. I’ assuming none of the buttons are there. I’ll ask for more pics.

Thanks. I ended up buying a 21 GLA. The retrofit would probably have voided the warranty somehow anyway.
