GLA250 Downshift sound?

GLA250 Downshift sound?
I just have a loaner GLA250 right now while my C-Class is getting worked on but it's driving me crazy trying to figure out what is making the swoosh sound on a hard engine brake downshift.
It sort of sounds like a turbo BOV but I wouldn't expect that to happen on a downshift as the car slows down. If it is a turbo DV release it is the loudest one I've ever heard on a factory stock car. The 1.8 turbo on my C250 is much quieter.
I guess the CLA250 would sound the same?

Well, driving it around some more I think it is the turbo. I just never heard one this pronounced before. It's a rather pleasant sound, just louder than I'd expect. Sometimes I think I have a car passing by on the right hand side of the car.
