Interior noise
Have had my GLA for about four months. This car is used very sparingly mostly for around town errands. It is equipped wit the sport option with OEM larger wheels and tires. Currently have about 1800 miles on it. I find the road noise in this car to be annoying and not in keeping with traditional MB standards. Can hardly hear the radio at times depending on the road surface. Had a friend drive it and he noticed the same thing. It almost seems like they forgot to put in sound deadening material. Has anyone experienced this? I am going to the dealer to drive another similarly equipped vehicle to see if this noise is unique to my car. I have two other MB. An S and an E. I'm not trying to compare the cabin noise with the GL because I don't expect it to be up to those levels. I'm getting to the point where I don't like driving the GLA anymore. Thanks for any feedback.

I had a 2013 GLK before I traded it in for my 2015 GLA and I find the noise level about the same. I am currently driving a 2015 C-Class and it has about the same noise level, maybe slightly less, but I think the suspension is the big difference. The C having a much softer ride makes it seem quieter.

2013 C250 Sport
Is the new C-Class softer than the older one? I find my 2013 C sport is stiff but dampens a little better than a GLA.
I'm in a GLA loaner now and it does have more road noise and a louder turbo. Something about it feels less refined but it is a crossover SUV.
