Replacement run flats for gx ssr or non run flat experiences for better ride??
I have conti gx ssr . Anyone replace theres with something else . How much better was ride quality if any ??

Nokian sells some excellent tires for dirt cheap. Check EBay for your size, and you'll see the Entyre and Entyre 2.0, also the Zline which is a performance tire that still has an all-season compound. I use them on my convert for 3 seasons. I use the Entyre 2.0 on my Audi Avant, it's one of the best made. The regular Entyre is an excellent go-to that I used on many different cars....never a problem.
Conti makes General, their excellent RT43 is great in snow and good wear. BFG is making some great tires now, owned by Michelin.
I would stay away from the SSR or any run flat. I carry a pump for most slow leaks and a plug kit. Good to learn how to plug a tire, you can do it still on the car in many instances. Keep pliers with it to pull out a nail, plug it and go.

Many of the tyres he reviews are not YET available in the US, but it's a look ahead. We get these tyres a year or two later.

I haven't had to swap out GLA tires as yet, but have about 2 years now on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S on my Audi. If you don't need dedicated Winter tires in your area their all seasons are capable, comfortable and quiet. Mid-light snow, but more often sleet/slush in my region.
But I have to say the OEM Conti run flats are much better than I had anticipated. No complaints from my wife either, which is Huge.
