Boot liner and Bumper protector

Boot liner and Bumper protector
Hey MB community,
I bought a genuine Boot (Trunk for my non-Australian friends :-) ) Liner and Bumper Protector as a package from our dealer for my wifes GLA only to find out that they aren't designed to work together!
The bumper protector was supplied first and attaches to the luggage hooks on each side as well as a Velcro strip attaching to the carpet on the bottom.
When they supplied the Boot Liner, to my surprise it covered the luggage hooks, and has no way for the velcro to attach, so the bumper protector basically just sits loose in the boot, or sits under the liner creating a huge bump.
They were sold to me together and the dealer seemed genuinely surprised that they aren't designed to work together suggesting that earlier versions of the Boot Liner had cutouts for the hooks and a velcro strip for the protector to attach to.
It's all rather silly.
I don't really want to cut up the genuine Boot liner to make it fit so I returned it and was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a suitable after-market alternative that may be better designed and work properly together, or cheap enough that I won't be concerned about cutting it up. :-)
