Hey everyone,
Just ordered the Weistec down pipe kit. It ships today. I'll post pics and updates once everything arrives.

Keep us posted! I'm looking into doin the same. Curious about install, issues, your impressions on hp and torque, and overall pros and cons (if any) with the set up.

Installing parts now. Rad fan removal was very tricky. only comes out one very particular way, downpipe removal also a bit harder then the directions implied. Thats where we are at right now. Will update as things are done.

Install complete.

Review after 25 kms of driving.
Much louder now. The exhaust is noticeably louder than stock. Under heavy load you can really hear the turbo spooling. More sound comes from the front of the car too. No check engine lights yet and everything works as it should. Hard to feel the power increase just yet as traffic was pretty bad but I did get a quick pull and the thing screams now. Took 3 hours to install with a hoist and every tool available. I would not recommend this install to a rookie. It wouldn't be terribly hard as the instructions were pretty good but I'm glad I had a mechanic doing the work... Many frustrating little bits that would make you want to smash something. Fit and finish of the actual Weistec parts is 100% perfect. Well worth the money.

In "M" mode under heavy acceleration it's about 25% louder and the cracks on upshift are 40% louder.
Overall I'm pretty happy with it. For me I can't get enough turbo spool noise. Still need more!!

Do u have stock amg exhaust or the optional amg racing exhaust. Just curious.

Downpipe will add around 9+/- whp and wouldn't be that noticeable. Couple it with an AMS intake, Rebellion V2, TRS and Trans Tune and now your talking. This will make a world of difference.
