Just bought a GLA 45 AMG
Just bought a GLA 45 AMG and I love it. I had an early 2014 CLA 45 AMG that I sold for a BMW M2 back in the spring.
I wanted an all wheel drive, daily driver that could fit 4 adults and carry my hockey bag. I test drove a lot of cars and kept coming back to the GLA 45.
I prefer a stick shift but since I already own 5 stick shift cars it wouldn't kill me to have a dual clutch. This unit is much improved over my CLA 45. Handling and ride quality is better too and you can actually fit the family in the back seats.
I choose the GLA 45 because it was so much fun to drive. It's a well rounded package of power and handling, This car is a hoot to drive.
My neighbors (who know nothing about cars) are shocked I bought a crossover. To me, this is a hot hatch, a grown up Subaru STI hatchback.

congrats
since I bought the GLA 45 , I have been driving it daily and the E63 S AMG has been parked in the driveway. I love both of them, but it seems I pick GLA more than E63

I just got one myself . . . once driven, hard to resist the pull.
Still a long ways to go in my break-in period (232 mi so far). Really hard to stay out of it.

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this as well. I have a cls500 currently that is giving me brake noise problems that are just annoying the hell outta me and nobody knows how to fix it. I test drove one of these and it's not like any car i've driven before. What btw is that popping noise it makes when it shifts gears. I am also not sure weather to go with or without the fin... part of me says its ridiculous the other part says awesome.

The popping noise is the exhaust over run. I wanted the fin but couldn't find one with it. Its a sleeper without it.

Also was wondering what did you think of the suede seat option with the red stitching? I was told that is supposed to not wear as fast as the recaro?

Hello to all, I am interested to lease a GLA45 and I have here this deal https://dsrleasing.com/car-listings/...4matic-309-mo/. What do you think guys?
I'm also looking at a lease but for the 2015 cpo, I think it might be a better value. Not sure what is better to be honest at this point owning or leasing.
