I am about to buy a 2021 GLB and I’m considering warranties/pre paid maintenance that have been offered to me. Is the following pricing in the ballpark of what people paid for these coverages?

$1771 for 5 years of the “First Class Premium Protection Service Contract”. The contract includes wheel and tire protection plus coverages, paintless dent repair coverages and windshield protection.

$1520 for 4 years of pre-paid maintenance

$1950 for 7 year/75,000 extended warranty

Those prices vary widely depending on where you live. Here in NYC, 75k extended was closer to $3300. Prepaid was $1800. Tire/wheel is 3rd party and not run by MB so that varies the most depending on who your dealership outsources to, about $2k here, but was tires/rims/interior upholstery, and didn't include dent repair or windshield.

i think the extended warranty says that it is fully refundable before it goes into effect, so you can bargain it down and potentially get a refund closer to 4 years from now if you think you eventually don't want it anymore.

being NYC, i went for the tire/rim package since roads here are probably going to get worse with budget issues and who wants to deal with dented 19" rims. i think a no brainer if you get 20" or 21" rims.

2021GLB250's quote is in-line with the best quote I got. There are other PPM and EW threads out there. I asked Jeff Jackson and got immediate response from MB of Louisville.
Though my local dealer is showing me the same price on PPM, which makes me think that the PPM is probably more standard and the EW pricing is more varied by dealer.
I didn't get a quote for the “First Class Premium Protection Service Contract”, would you be willing to share where you got your quote from?

Paid $1,850 for 6 year/75,000 extended warranty in NY. Initial price was $2,450. First time when I spoke to financial manager he would not budge, however when time came to pickup the car and sign paperwork I got a different financial manager who was willing to negotiate. It's all depends on a person at the dealership. $1,950 for 7y/75m looks like a good price (the list price for it was $3,000). Just keep in mind that price goes up 15% after 30 days from purchase date.

Anyone debating to get MBI instead of ELW?
I got a Geico quote of MBI for $143 for a 6 month premium. If you do the math, this comes out to about ~$1700 for 7 years even if I push until the last possible moment to sign up (must buy MBI within 15 months of purchase), that + $250 deductible on just one claim gets you to $1950 which is the best quote I hear on 7yr/75k ELW. What are everyone’s experience with MBI or ELW?

after all, did you buy the Wheel and Tire protection? I bought mind yesterday but I am skeptical if I made a good decision. I paid 1500 dollars for it and Just found out a new tire only cost 326 dollars with installation at the dealership.

I did not purchase the Wheel and Tire protection. I have the standard 18" rims so I didn't think it was worth the price to pay extra for it.

I did purchase the tire and wheel warranty. I have the 19" AMG wheels. I'm not sure it was worth it. I was beat down and tired by the end of the whole buying process. I got a good deal on the price of the car after fighting tooth and nail, and I didn't have the energy to think long about the wheel and tire. The price was one that I had offered, but I was shooting in the dark because there was not much info out there on how much people pay. In the end, I took it because I am a crappy driver and never spot the potholes and I have damaged wheels several times, so I just bit the bullet and bought the warranty. You beat my price which bothers me because I hate leaving money on the table, but I'm trying not to look back and rethink it.

Just got a GLB 250 last week and purchased the 4 year pre-paid maintenance, and an additional 3 year warranty (so totally 7 years/75k miles) for $5k. Is that a decent price?
