Any update what caused this issue? I’m on day 4 of ownership and same exact thing happened.

Had the check engine light on my GLB 35 come on after 1500 miles. Should be back from the dealer today. Clearly sounds like a common issue.

Dealer just dropped my car off. Here's what the service order said:

Found Fault Code P04567A for a very fine leak in the evaporative emissions system. Performed leak test and found the vehicle failed the leak test. Found LI47.30-P-072421 and followed the procedure and removed the purge valve and tapped it on a while cloth and found chunks of charcoal present. As per the LI, removed and installed the fuel tank and removed and replaced the active charcoal canister and removed and replaced the purge valve and blew out the evaporative emissions line. Retested the vehicle now passes the leak test.

Just a follow up on the above. My car was taken in, and the check engine light, gas cap loose message was cleared. Dealer said car was fueled with the ignition on. Yesterday, same message popped up. Will be back at the dealer next week again.

What about Squeaky brakes? I searched this forum and see nothing about it, but on others I see it mentioned. AMG brakes are squeaky and it's normal? 1,015 miles and they squeak a lot more now than when first got it. Called service department and he said its normal and nothing can be done about it. That's hard to believe.
Some comments:
"Performance brakes squeak because of the aggressive compounds on the brake pads"
"All AMG breaks squeak!!… My C43 started around 1k kilometres in fact if you check the car manual it says it’s normal due to high performance breaks configuration.
"
"I had an A35 AMG sedan for a couple of weeks as a loaner and the brakes on it squeaked every time I backed it out of my garage in the morning. "

Is this true? I've had Macan GTS, Audi SQ5 and their brakes didn't squeak like my new MB AMG..

Unfortunately that is correct. AMG brakes are notorious for squeaking. This is my third AMG and they all did the same thing. They quiet down after a wash. once the brake dust builds up, it starts all over again.
As for Porsche brakes, my 911 had the same issue. the Cayenne was very quite. I believe anytime you get into these "higher performance brakes" they all share the same noise issue.
Hope this helps!

Mine squeak once in a while, but not to the point where I've had any concern.

Same here. Not a major concern and I really like it so far. Drives and rides great! Now have to plan for Winter tires for 21" rims. Before you know it........

Thanks for the quick reply. Goes along with everything else I've read.

FWIW, mine has the 19" rims - not sure if that has any impact on the frequency of brake squeaks.
