Hopefully they will fix it. Mine had back wheel plastic trim split from the frame in my first day (not enough glue) and was fixed it last month after waiting 4 months for the part... I had to call MB customer service with no ETA for 4 months. They could have just glued back...

happened out of the blue. After a regular stop.

I had the plastic/clear coat separate from the paint. I found the flaw one week after buying my new GLB. They kept it for FIVE weeks. That is when I realized this model would be giving lots of owners problems. Not up to the standards of my past Mercedes. My last one. That said, I do like the vehicle.

they are shipping my car 200 miles away to another MB dealership with a certified paint and body shop. Which is odd. Like there no local paint and body that’s trusts worthy.
long story short. Trading this in the upcoming months.

I had the same problem, only it was on the rear door. They sent my GLB to a certified paint center app 60 miles away. They had the GLB for a total of five weeks. I did get a loaner. After it came back we found knife scratches where they put painters tape on the door. Said it would have to be sent back. I said NO, They sent it to a local place, back in three days and well fixed.
I just don’t know what to say about all the quality control problems with these vehicles, other than to say they are entry levels. All said, one of the nicest vehicles to drive. Seems most car makers are being plagued with quality problems these days.
