GLB RECALL
My daughter has a 2020 GLB 4matic. She just received a recall notice to “ replace the integral front axle carrier “. It seems like this is a major repair in terms of time needed to complete. Recall notice did mention 7.5 hours. Has anyone had this recall done already , and is there anything else that I should be aware of. It definitely seems like a loaner vehicle is needed. Thanks

I just checked my Vin # on MB site and Department of Transportation NHTSA site, and the only recall that come us is associated with MBUX screen going black. Nothing on the axle carrier. Would you mind sharing a picture of the recall notice?

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC. (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021 AMG GLB35, 2019-2020 A220, and 2020 GLB250 vehicles. The integral carrier that supports the front axle may corrode, causing it to fail.

I had an issue with navigation and made an appointment with a loaner. The service advisor said there were three recalls. Axel, Communication Module, and an OTA (over-the-air update). They replaced the communication module, and repair the axel under a recall warranty. They had my vehicle for over three days but I believe they repaired everything in one day.
