- The engine has warmed up.
- The vehicle is parked on a level surface.
- The engine is running at idle speed.

Thanks. I use to change the oil from the top with an extraction pump through the dip stick tube which was easy but now looks like under the SUV method which is a pain with the belly pan requiring removal.

My preferred method also. At least it’s an SUV and not a sedan or coupe with 4” ground clearance. You might try going through the oil filter drain port. If it’s straight enough it should go to the oil pan. I haven’t tried yet on the GLB because I’m still on the prepaid service agreement.
