GLB speaker quality?
Hey guys.. I have a 2022 GLB 250 and less than 10k miles. I’m getting a rattling sound from the speakers. I don’t blast the music but I’m also not listening to it on low. The speakers are rattling and making noise with vibration now. Has anyone else experienced this?
thank you!

Had speaker issue - led to replacement
I definitely had a problem with the speaker (FR) in my 2021 GLB. My issue was somewhat intermittent but happened enough that I took it in for service and once they were able to replicate it (first time they didn't her anything and "updated software just in case") they ended up replacing the speaker. Have not had any issues since then.

I don't have the Burmeister system in mine, but find the overall quality of the sound rather poor compared to the old Harmon Kardon systems in previous gen cars. I think there was a thread on here where several people said even the Burmeister version was nothing to write home about. Especially for the price.

I don't think I ever followed up on this. There was a firmware update that fixed the problem. I really thought it was something to do with loose wires since it seemed to happen when accelerating or decelerating. But nope, good ol' software bug.

I had the same issue. Front passenger side speaker. It would rattle at certain low frequencies. Took in for the dealer to look at it. They ordered a new speaker and replaced it.

Try to play different types of songs/genres to see which ones trigger the rattling. That way you can play it for the dealer so they don't say they can't reproduce the issue.
