Mercedes GLB Brake Oil
May I know if the Mercedes GLB specified on using DOT4+ Brake Oil, may I know am I allow to mix it with DOT4 Brake Oil? Will this degrade the engine performance?
The reason I ask is I have a container of DOT4 Brake Oil.

I just performed Service B at the dealer, and they used MB Part# 000-989-56-05-11-0111 Break Fluid. It's not much more expansive than other brands.
Just curious what is the correlation between Break Fluid and Engine Performance in your question?

DOT 4+ has a wet boiling temperature of 180 C. DOT 4 has a wet boiling temperature of 165 C. Mercedes Benz recommends DOT 4+ in all their passenger vehicles. The two fluids are compatible, but adding DOT 4 will lower the boiling point. It may lower braking effectiveness in extreme conditions such as competition or mountain driving.
Do not use brake fluid of any kind from an open container. Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air. Open containers will be saturated with water and at the lowest boiling point.
With regard to engine performance, the brakes and the engine are two different systems and fluid choice for one should not affect the other.
