Roof rail retrofit?
My car is missing the roof rail! Can I retrofit it somehow? Genuine of aftermarket, I don’t care.

Roof rails are available for purchase at online MBUSA parts. There are grommets and nuts in the drawing, so it looks like they may attach to predrilled holes. I would call an MB authorized body shop and ask. Then you can decide whether to install yourself or not.

Below is the link to roof rails for 2021 GLB 250 with panoramic roof, from one of the online BM parts stores. Depending on the year and configuration of your car it could be different I guess, but you can certainly purchase MB OEM roof rails.

The roof rails mount into slots in the black roof channels. Are there slot covers to mount rails on your roof (photo)?

FYI, I had an issue mounting the MB roof racks to my C-class. For some reason one of the bolts for the rear part of the rack wouldn't screw down correctly. I initially thought I didn't have them aligned correctly. I ended up figuring out the bolt hole wasn't treaded all the way from the factory. I ended up taking the screw to the hardware to figure out it's thread pattern. I ended up buying a metric tap set. Re-tapping the hole and then it worked just fine.
