Was anyone else confused with lumbar controls

I have been struggling with getting lumbar support set up just right. It was very confusing to the point that I thought it was not working right, and I just gave up for a while. The lumbar does not behave like other car brands, nor does it work like outlined in operation manual.
Finally I found a YouTube video that explains how BMW lumbar control works, and sure enough it's the same for GLB (down, forward, and top all inflate lumbar, and back releases air for all three).

It doesn’t behave like the knobs and handles on the inboard sides of the seats on our other Benzes, either. Something was lost in translation in the owners manual but finally figured it out by trial and error.
