Tire pressure for GLB 250
What is the correct or recommended tire pressure front and rear for GLB 250 2021? Thank you
That deflection is made by the pressure/load on tire-relation.
So if you know your axleloads acurately, and maximum speed used, you can determine pressure for that.
This " pigheaded Dutch selfdeclared tyrepressure specialist" can help you with that.
The carmakers used to calculate recomended pressures for GAWR's and max technical carspeed, with no reserve.
But nowsdays more often verry high pressures, for energy saving, and liability reasons, wich gives bad comfort and gripp. Then if you use lower, you cant hold them responcible for tire-failure.
I can calculate the needed pressure for your driving-situation.
Need from tire, read from sidewall.
1. Maximum liad ir loadindex
2.. Kind of tire to determinevthe reference-pressure.
I dont know your kind of car, but will give 3 kinds.
A. Standard load personscartire AT 36 psi
B. XL /reinfirced/ extraload Personscartire AT 42 psi.
C. C- load LT tire AT 50 or 55 psi.
I suspect your both pressure sets to be that verry high pressures and not calculated.
Then calculated would probably give about 30 psi for max 160kmph/99 mph.
So also give GAWR, GVWR, empty weight.
From tires is easy, given on sidewall. Can make a cold pressure/axleloadcapacity list, with build in maximum reserve, but still acceptable comfort and gripp.
Then you " ONLY" have to determine the axleloads in your use 99% acurate, the most tricky part, and your responcibility.
In front, you could search for GAWR's or whatever max permissable axleweights are called in your country, and search them back in my list.
If you give also GVWR, empty weight, and the way you load car with persons and lugage, I can make a dangerous estimation of the axleloads.
Then also give if motor in front or back.
