Hi I'm new to this site and hopping to see if any other Techs out there have experienced any issues with programming and SCN coding with a new (genuine) right (slave) side head lamp assembly both Led matrix control module and headlamp control modules have been replaced as well. Problem I am having is that the right side will take programming and will even allow for teach in of the LED matrix to be completed but will fail with the SCN coding. The odd part is that the left side (master) hasn't been touched and is also missing its SCN coding, essentially there are no dtc's in either right or left side modules though is obviously have no right low beam and have only one message in the cluster (right low beam malfunction). Ive updated front sam (Central control module) and literally any other module that I would think CAN might care to have updated software with and still no success. I am very experienced with Mercedes Benz having been with them for almost 25 years now and have not yet elevated this to a TAC case but figured ive give this a shot first. Thanks!
Maybe it was a MB Server glitch, you can try again if you are sure that the HLI and PXL are genuine. Nowadays there are a lot of fake chinese ECU's impossible to distinguish by sticker or case, but if you check with Xentry the HW or SW numbers are always ????????
Hi! Thank you for responding I did suspect that it was an MB server issue at first but attempted the very next day with the same results. And I was able to update different modules in the very same vehicle as well. So it kinda has me at a loose.
