EML light intermittent but nothing on ECU
My EML (engine management light) has come up intermittently 5 times with no affect on car performance. At service asked dealers to check and nothing recorded on ECU. ??
Is this normal?

To have EML (or CEL) come on with no noticeable performance issues is not unusual. Neither is light going off since an intermittent problem that does not reoccur for a number of cycles will be considered insignificant. But to have no codes stored is very unusual. We have 3 model 247s and every each (2) CEL has had codes stored.

I've been having the same issue on my 2024 GLB 250. I got the CEL twice already and no trouble code. I still don't notice any performance issue with the car.. just that the CEL is ON. Dealer cleared the CEL the 1st time.. but is back ON. I connected an OBD2 I have and also came without trouble code.
