The Official 2016 GLC Picture Thread

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Only thing I would have added would have been the upgraded stereo and a trailer hitch.
It has Night Package, and Espresso Brown Interior. I powder coated the stock 20" rims and added a clear rear bumper protector onto the car.
After 3500 miles I am averaging a pretty respectable 24.8 MPG around town and if I keep my foot off the pedal can get close to 30 on the highway.
I am happy with this car...

Nice motor!
Do you call it THE STEALTH??????????????????????
(I wondered over to this forum after hearing about the latest GLC family member).
I really like rbrylaw's cardinal red... stunning!
I am particularly partial to Joe's color scheme and interior:
I'm really liking the red too though I have yet to see one in person...I can only imagine it looks better than the pics as things usually do.
I love the way Hyacinth Red (a.k.a. Cardinal Red) changes from anything between burgundy and burnt orange depending on the light levels. Maybe that's why it costs slightly more than the other entry level Designo paint colours.

Being in Sport trim, it didn't come with any branding on the brake calipers so they were just screaming to be painted red.

In the UK we get a nice chrome "short overhang" front end when we order the off-road package.

I removed the "GLC 220d" and "4MATIC" badges along with the rear registration plate carrier for a much cleaner look.

I hate the way the newer water-based paint means cars these days all seem to come with a free orange peel effect. I spent over 12 hours (Mercedes clearcoat is some of the hardest out there) with my dual action orbital polisher doing a 2-stage polish which has definitely knocked down the orange peel and crisped up the finish. Finally I treated Red Ken to Blackfire's "Wet Ice Over Fire" kit to really get the metallic flakes to pop.
Thanks for looking,
Trevor.
