Oh definitely...it's all subjective when it comes to interior and exterior color choices. I never thought I'd get gray (selenite) as an exterior color either but there's a first time for everything I guess.

That selenite grey color really pops. I went with the iridium grey as a bit lighter shade of grey and ended up liking that color more than I had imagined, prior to purchase.

My thought process while buying: My test drive vehicle was white with a beige interior, brown ash wood, burmester, pano roof, 18 inch wheels, you get the picture. I thought the beige interior looked rich and classy, but also my brain was yelling "you can't keep this clean". So I skipped by the beige. I also saw the beige headliner let way too much light in. So I asked if I could drive one with the black interior. Similar options, just add 19 inch wheels. I noticed the same light issue even with the black headliner. I skipped the sunroof. I was initially going for a selinite gray glc with amg package, black interior, burmester, pano, led. Then since the didn't have one without the pano roof, I asked about the lunar blue color. I managed to get one with all the options and walked home with it. Don't regret my choices

Oh, never new. I haven't had a recall on my 2019, or asked to buy a fire extinguisher. Can't MB fix the wires or soemthing?

Mercedes used to always have one, in Australia anyway, but the memory seat package means there's no room for an extinguisher now. I must admit I was a little disappointed when I realised my GLC didn't have one

Don’t mind at all! Although I don’t know how helpful my answer will be because of the unique acquisition circumstances.
This car used to belong to a family member. They ended up getting a new Audi A3, and as a result, they were planning on selling this car back to the dealer. I was scrambling to find a new car, so I offered to kick in some cash, in addition to taking over the lease payments.
I really lucked out. Planning on keeping this for 12-14 months while I wait for the market to calm down a bit.
Just had the interior detailed, so the car feels a little closer to “new” now . . .
